Swetha Jos

Dr. Swetha Jos is a Senior Research Scientist I in process chemistry at Curia Global, New York, United States, specializing in small-molecule development, synthetic methodology, and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) scale-up. She completed her Ph.D. at Virginia Tech, Virginia, United States, where her research focused on organic synthesis, organic boron chemistry, trifluoromethyl chemistry, and 1,2,4-oxadiazoles for medicinal chemistry applications, as well as trazodone-derived molecules for neurodegenerative applications (Multiple Sclerosis). Prior to her doctoral studies, she earned her BS-MS from IISER Pune, India, where her research focused on investigating small-molecule hydrogen sulfide (H2S donors) for biological applications and nucleotide modifications for labeling RNA.
