Lindsay Evans

Dr Lindsay Evans is a Staff Scientist at the Institute of Cancer Research (London, UK), working in the Cancer Research UK Children’s Brain Tumour Centre of Excellence (CRUK CBTCE). Lindsay completed her PhD in organic chemistry and chemical biology at the ICR with Prof. Keith Jones. She then spent 4 years working at Imperial College London on multidisciplinary antimicrobial drug discovery projects.
In her current role, Lindsay leads on the medicinal chemistry aspects of several collaborative projects that aim to identify novel targets and therapies for children’s brain tumours. These projects include the development of small molecule inhibitors, PROTACs and molecular glues using both targeted and phenotypic approaches.
