Dylan Lynch
University of Dundee
Dylan is a postdoctoral fellow at the Centre for Targeted Protein Degradation (CeTPD) at the University of Dundee. He completed his PhD at Trinity College Dublin in radical synthetic methodology for interrogating post-translational modifications. Following his PhD, he secured a Fulbright award to conduct research at the University of Washington on chemical probes for viral proteins with Prof. Champak Chatterjee. At Dundee, Dylan researches novel protein degraders through a blend of medicinal chemistry and chemical biology approaches, in the group of Prof. Alessio Ciulli. In particular, he is interested in drugging novel E3 ligases, and developing innovative chemical methods for accessing degrading chemical probes.
He is an active reviewer for ACS, Wiley, and Frontiers journals, and holds full fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
