Pamela Haile


Pamela Haile is a Project Leader in the Immunology Research Unit at GSK, where she leads project matrix teams through early drug discovery from target identification through candidate selection. Pamela joined GSK as a Medicinal Chemist in 2006 before moving to a Project Leader role in 2019. Pamela has experience across multiple target classes (GPCRs, Kinases, Phospholipases) and modalities (Small molecules, PROTACs, Biologics) as well as experience on clinical development teams. Prior to joining GSK, Pamela completed a PhD in synthetic organic chemistry at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill with Professor Michael Crimmins and post-doctoral research at the University of California-Irvine with Professor Keith Woerpel. Pamela serves as an editor for ACS Medicinal Chemistry Reviews (Case Histories and NCEs). Pamela has 38 peer reviewed publications and patent applications and has been a presenter and session chair at high caliber international meetings.
